1 ¼ cups Rice
2 Tbsps light soy sauce

Tip: You can add chopped vegetables such as pepper, spring onion or minced ginger to add some addition texture or flavour. Alternatively you can add a beaten egg just before stir frying for egg fried rice.

Preparation steps

1.
Cook the rice as per the packet instructions and allow to cool.
2.
Heat the oil to hot in a large wok and add the rice. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
3.
Season with the soy sauce before serving.
