½ oz easy bake Yeast
6 ⅔ cups Whole wheat flour
1 tsp salt
3 Tbsps sunflower oil
½ cup Sunflower seed

Preparation steps

1.
Sprinkle the yeast onto the flour with the salt. Mix in 500 ml lukewarm water and the oil. Knead to a smooth dough with the kneading hook of the electric mixer. Add more lukewarm water or flour if necessary. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 40 minutes.

Knead the dough on a floured surface, working in the sunflower seeds (reserving 2 tbsp).

Heat the oven to 220C (200C fan) 425F, gas 7.

Shape the dough to a large loaf and place on a cookie sheet lined with baking parchment. Sprinkle with the reserved sunflower seeds. Let rise for a further 20 minutes.
5.
Bake the loaf for approx. 60 minutes. The bread is cooked if it sounds hollow when knocked on the bottom with your knuckle.
