- 3 red onions
- 24 Nuremberger grilled sausages (or Tofubratwürstchen)
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 Tbsps Hoisin sauce
- 1 Tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp sunflower oil
- also
- 8 potatoes (day old)
- Frying oil
- salt
- Corn (for serving)
- Lettuce (for serving)

Preparation steps
1.
Preheat the oven to 100°C (approximately 215°F).
2.
Peel the onions and cut into wedges. Alternate the onion wedges and sausages on the skewers. Peel the garlic and chop with the remaining onion. Mix with the hoisin, soy sauce, and oil. Marinate the skewers with the soy mixture.
3.
Peel and thinly slice the potatoes. Cook in the oil for 3 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Keep warm in the oven.
4.
Cook the skewers on a hot grill for about 7 minutes.
