Nutritional values

Walnuts provide ellagic acid, which is a secondary plant substance that protects cells and activates the immune system. Thanks to a considerable amount of dietary fiber, the bread keeps you full for a long time. In addition, wholemeal rye bread made from natural sourdough contains valuable B vitamins and many important minerals.

If you like it a bit fruitier, chop the walnuts coarsely, fold them into the cream cheese and top the bread with apple or pear slices instead of drizzling it with honey.
