20 Cherry tomatoes
20 stalks green Asparagus
16 Basil
1 Tbsp olive oil
salt
freshly ground peppers
1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the cherry tomatoes and pat dry. Place in a greased baking dish and roast in a 200°C (approximately 400°F) for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven, let cool, and mix in the basil leaves. 

2.

Rinse and trim the asparagus. Remove the tough woody ends of the asparagus, if necessary.

Mix the asparagus with the oil, and season to taste with salt and pepper. Roast in a very hot pan for 1 minute. Drizzle with the balsamic vinegar and remove from the pan. Let the asparagus cool, then serve with the tomatoes.
