- 700 grams Red cabbage (small head)
- 1 large Apple
- 2 Tbsps Vinegar
- 3 Tbsps lemon juice
- 2 Tbsps Orange juice
- 4 Tbsps vegetable oil
- ½ tsp Caraway
- freshly ground peppers
- 100 grams unsalted Shelled peanut
- 50 grams candied Oranges (in strips)
Preparation steps
1.
Cut the cabbage into quarters, remove the stalk and finely slice. Mix with the vinegar and leave to stand for about 15 minutes before stirring again. Peel and quarter the apple, remove the seeds and cut into pieces.

Combine the lemon juice, orange juice and oil and season with caraway and pepper to make a marinade.
Carefully rinse the cabbage under lukewarm water, drain and mix with the marinade, the apple pieces and peanuts.
Serve garnished with candied oranges.
