100 milliliters Apple juice
4 Tbsps apple cider vinegar
2 green Apple
2 Tbsps lemon juice
8 Tbsps chopped Hazelnuts (or walnuts)

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse cabbage, cut in half and finely slice. Peel shallot and finely dice. Melt butter in a large pot and saute shallot. Add cabbage and briefly cook.

2.

Pour in apple juice. Close pot, lower temperature and simmer for 5-10 minutes. Season to taste with apple cider vinegar and cool slightly.

3.

Rinse the apples, remove cores and cut into thin slices. Lightly toast nuts without fat.

4.

Arrange cabbage with apples on plates and serve sprinkled with nuts.
