1 handful Fresh herbs (such as: dill, thyme)
2 onions
2 Tbsps butter
100 grams starchy potatoes (cooked the day before)
500 grams mixed Ground meat
1 egg
2 Tbsps breadcrumbs
salt
white peppers
ground allspice
4 Tbsps vegetable oil
2 Tomatoes

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse herbs, shake dry and mince half. Peel and dice onions. Heat butter in a pan and cook onions. Remove and place in a bowl. Mash potatoes with a fork or press through a ricer. Combine meat, potatoes and onions. Add chopped herbs and knead in breadcrumbs. Season well with salt, pepper and allspice. Use wet hands to form small balls. Heat oil in a pan over low heat and cook meatballs on all sides for about 10 minutes.

Rinse, core and slice tomatoes.

Plate meatballs and tomatoes and serve garnished with remaining herbs.
