2 garlic cloves

Preparation steps

1.

For the gratin, peel, rinse and thinly slice the potatoes. Blanch in boiling salt water. Grease 4 ovenproof ramekins (12 cm diameter) with butter. Drain the potatoes and layer in the ramekins. Sprinkle with cheese and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.

Mix the cream, egg and egg yolks. Peel and press the garlic. Mix the garlic into the cream. Pour the cream over the potatoes. Bake for 40-45 minutes at 180°C (approximately 350°F).

3.

Serve the gratin garnished with thyme.
