30 grams butter
1 kilogram waxy potatoes
200 grams Whipped cream
500 milliliters milk
salt

Preparation steps

1.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350ºF) and grease a shallow, ovenproof dish with butter.

Peel, rinse and dry the potatoes. Cut into 2-3 mm thin slices (approximately 1/4 inch) and distribute them evenly in the dish.

Mix the cream with the milk and season well with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Pour over the potatoes and distribute small knobs of butter over the top.

Bake in the oven for about 1 hour. If the surface begins to brown too quickly, cover with aluminum foil.

Serve hot.
