4 Pork cutlets (125 grams) (approximately 4 ounces)

dried marjoram
3 Tbsps vegetable oil
4 onions
2 Tbsps Tomato paste
300 milliliters full-bodied Red wine

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse the pork cutlers, pat dry, season with salt, pepper and marjoram and coat with 2 tablespoons oil. Peel the onions and slice. Heat a large frying pan over medium heat and sauté the cutlets for 3 minutes per side. Set aside.

2.

Add the remaining oil to the frying pan and sauté the onions until lightly brown, around 7 minutes. Add the tomato paste and red wine, bring to a boil and season with salt and pepper. Return the cutlets to the pan and simmer for 10 minutes over low heat. Serve immediately.
