1 Sieve, 1 Cutting board, 1 Small knife, 1 deep bowl, 1 Hand mixer, 1 Plate, 1 Fork, 1 Bowl, 1 Wooden spoon, 1 Fine-mesh sieve, 1 Large knife, 1 Springform pan (20 cm diameter), 1 Parchment paper, 1 Wire rack

Rinse plums, wipe dry, halve and pit.

Separate the eggs. Beat egg whites with the salt in a large bowl with a hand mixer until stiff, then gradually beat in the sugar.

Peel banana, put on a plate and mash finely with a fork. Mix thoroughly in a bowl with applesauce, cinnamon and the egg yolks.

Sift together flour and baking powder over the mixture and fold to combine.

Chop walnuts with a large knife.

Line the bottom of a springform pan (20 cm) (approximately/8 inches) in diameter with parchment paper. Pour in the batter, smooth surface, arrange plums on top and sprinkle with nuts. Bake in preheated oven at 180°C (fan 160°C, gas: mark 2-3) (approximately 350°F) until golden brown, about 30 minutes. Cool in pan on a wire rack, remove from the pan and serve.
