- 100 grams cooked Pasta (ruote, Italian)
- salt
- 1 can blanched Tomatoes (800 grams)
- 1 onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 Tbsps olive oil (cold pressed)
- 100 grams green pitted Olives
- freshly ground peppers
- 300 grams Tuna (canned, in water)

Preparation steps

Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente. Drain the canned tomatoes and chop coarsely. Peel the onion and chop finely. Peel and squeeze the garlic.
For the sauce, heat olive oil in a pan and sauté the onions and garlic in it. Add the tomatoes and pour some tomato liquid from the can.

Drain the olives and cut into slices. Add the olives to the sauce. Simmer for 5-6 minutes, optionally add some more tomato liquid. Season with plenty of pepper and add the drained, chopped tuna. Heat shortly. Serve the cooked pasta with the sauce on plates.
