- 2 Tbsps olive oil
- 1 small onion (finely chopped)
- 1 clove garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- 1 can diced Tomatoes
- 2 cans Tuna (drained)
- kosher salt (to taste)
- freshly ground Black pepper (to taste)
- 1 box Farfalle (cooked according to package directions)
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- fresh Basil (for garnish)

Preparation steps
1.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add the onions and saute until soft and translucent. Add in the garlic and cook another minute, stirring until fragrant.
2.
Turn the heat up to high and add the tomatoes and tuna to the pan. Season with salt and pepper and cook, stirring occasionally for about 20 minutes.
3.
Add in the cooked pasta, frozen peas, and lemon juice and mix to incorporate. Cook for another 5 minutes or until heated through.
4.
Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with fresh basil leaves to serve.
