Pasta with Chicken, Artichokes and Peppers

Cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to the packet instructions. Drain, reserving a little of the water.
Meanwhile, heat the oil in a pan and cook the onion for about 15 minutes until soft and sweet. Add the chicken and peppers and cook briskly until golden in patches. Add the artichokes and oregano and season.
Toss the pasta with the chicken, adding a little cooking water to lubricate. Serve hot.
