1 kilogram well-dressed Spinach
1 kilogram Tomatoes
2 onions
2 garlic cloves
peppers (and salt)
dried Basil
2 vegetable oil
500 grams Pasta shell
200 grams Mozzarella
Fat (for the pan)

Preparation steps

1.

Saute the spinach in a hot pan with a little water. Pour through a sieve and drain.

Peel and finely chop the onions and garlic. Briefly blanch the tomatoes, peel and cut into cubes. Cook the pasta until al dente. Saute the onions and garlic in hot oil. Add the tomatoes and season to taste with salt, pepper and basil. Let simmer.

Mix the spinach with the tomato sauce.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

Spread the pasta in a large, greased baking dish. Mix in the spinach and tomato sauce. Top with mozzarella slices. Bake and serve immediately.
