100 grams Caper (from a jar)
2 Tbsps olive oil
600 grams peeled Tomatoes (canned)
salt
freshly ground peppers
3 cans Tuna (about 185 grams, in water)
500 grams short macaroni
2 Tbsps freshly chopped Basil
4 Lemon wedge

Preparation steps

Peel garlic and chop finely. Drain capers well and chop finely half of capers. Heat oil in a pan and saute garlic until translucent, add tomatoes and chopped capers, season with salt and pepper. Simmer for about 20-25 minutes on medium heat. Mash tomatoes with a whisk.

Drain tuna well, pick apart with a fork and mix with tomato sauce. Season to taste. Add pasta and spread everything in a greased baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese and bake in preheated oven at 200°C (approximately 400°F) for about 30-35 minutes. Remove from oven, sprinkle with remaining capers and garnish with chopped basil. Place lemon wedge into each corner and serve.
