- For the salad:
- 1 medium green Papaya
- 10 Cherry tomatoes
- 80 grams roasted, salted Peanuts
- For the dressing:
- 2 garlic cloves
- 4 small red chili peppers
- 2 Tbsps Fish sauce
- 5 Tbsps Lime juice
- 1 Tbsp Palm sugar (or brown sugar)

Preparation steps

For the salad, peel papaya, cut in half and remove seeds. Grate pulp coarsely. Rinse cherry tomatoes and cut into small pieces.

For the dressing, peel garlic and chop. Rinse chile peppers and chop. Place chile peppers, including seeds, and garlic into a mortar and crush until fine. Add half the peanuts and coarsely grind. Mix fish sauce, lime juice and sugar with peanuts and chile peppers. Add papaya and tomatoes and mix everything gently so flavors combine well.
3.
Divide papaya salad between four bowls. Coarsely chop remaining peanuts. Sprinkle peanuts over salad prior to serving.
