1 untreated Orange (Juice and grated peel)
juice of lemons
200 grams (approximately 7 ounces) crushed Tomatoes
60 grams (approximately 1/4 cup)) honey
salt (pepper from the grinder)
Tabasco sauce

Preparation steps

1.

Heat the oil in a skillet. Peel the onion, finely chop and cook until translucent. Add the orange juice and zest, the lemon juice, tomatoes and honey and simmer until saucy, about 15 minutes. Add salt, pepper and a few splashes of Tabasco and set aside to cool.

Rinse chicken legs, pat dry and place in a bowl with the orange juice mixture. Cover and refrigerate for 2 - 3 hours.

Heat the grill and lightly oil the grates. Lift the chicken from the marinade, place on the grill and cook, turning the chicken as it browns until cooked through, about 15 minutes. Timing will vary depending on the size of the chicken legs.

4.

Serve the chicken with grilled tomato slices.
