For the milk
400 grams ground almonds
80 grams sugar
1 l milk
5 generous pinches cinnamon
1 Tbsp Orange blossom water
To garnish
12 Cinnamon stick

Preparation steps

1.

For the milk, mix almonds with 50 grams (approximately 1/4 cup) of sugar and pour over 1 liter (approximately 1 quart) of hot water. Refrigerate for 12 hours.

2.

Strain almonds and combine the almond liquid with milk, remaining sugar, 1 pinch cinnamon and orange blossom water.

3.

Fill 12 well-chilled glasses with the almond milk and sprinkle with remaining cinnamon. If desired, garnish each serving with 1 cinnamon stick.
