4 Rump steak
2 Tbsps vegetable oil
4 Tbsps butter
4 small, firm Pear

Preparation steps

1.

Peel pears, cut in half, remove the cores and dice 2 pears finely. Cut the rest into thick slices.

2.

Rinse meat, pat dry and season with salt and pepper. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter and oil and fry the steaks 4 minutes on each side. Remove from pan and wrap in aluminum foil.

3.

Sauté pear slices and cubes with remaining butter in the pan drippings. Unwrap steaks, top with pear cubes and serve with the pear slices.
