- 1 bottle good quality Red wine
- ¼ l water
- juice of lemons
- a few cloves
- Cinnamon stick
- 1 lemon

Preparation steps
1.
Simmer the red wine, water, lemon juice, and spices in a saucepan, but don't allow to come to a boil.
2.
Before you serve, remove the cinnamon stick and the cloves.
3.
Pour the mulled wine into preheated glasses.
4.
Peel the lemon thinly, then garnish the glasses with the lemon peel.
