1 day-old White roll
400 grams Ground lamb
1 egg
1 garlic clove
1 tsp dried thyme
breadcrumbs
salt
freshly ground peppers
1 onion
vegetable oil (fr cooking)
4 White rolls
1 handful Lettuce (such as rocket)
50 grams dried Tomatoes (in oil)
50 grams black Olives (pitted)
50 grams Feta

Preparation steps

Soak day-old bread in a little lukewarm water. Squeeze and combine with ground lamb, egg, chopped garlic and thyme. If necessary, add breadcrumbs to make malleable. Season with salt and pepper and form 4 patties. Heat oil in a pan and cook patties for 2-3 minutes per side or until golden brown. Peel onion and cut into strips. Saute onion in the burger pan.

Cut bread rolls in half and grill in a hot grill pan, cut side down. Rinse and dry lettuce, tear into smaller pieces. Chop tomatoes and olives, crumble feta cheese. Arrange meat patties on bottom roll halves and top with tomatoes, olives, feta and lettuce. Add onions, replace roll tops and serve.
