1 stale White roll
1 large onion
500 grams mixed Ground meat
1 egg
1 Tbsp medium-hot Mustard
salt

60 grams clarified butter (for sauteeing)

Preparation steps

Soak the rolls in a little lukewarm water in a bowl.

Peel the onion and finely chop. Place the ground meat in a bowl, mix in the diced onions and knead well. Whisk the egg and mix in.

Squeeze the bread and add with the mustard to the ground meet. Season well with salt and pepper and knead with your hands into a smooth mixture.

With wet hands, shape the meat mixture into meatballs about 2 cm (approximately 3/4 inch) thick.

In a pan, heat a little clarified butter. Saute the meatballs 3-4 minutes until browned.

Turn and cook for 3-4 more minutes. Repeat process with all meatballs.
