- 40 grams raisins
- 40 grams Pine nuts
- 4 scallions
- 1 garlic clove
- 600 grams Ground meat (beef or lamb)
- 100 grams Yogurt (0.1% fat)
- 50 grams breadcrumbs
- 1 pinch ground allspice
- 1 pinch Ground cinnamon
- salt
- freshly ground peppers

Preparation steps

Soak raisins in a little warm water for about 30 minutes. Roast pine nuts in a dry pan unil golden. Remove and let cool.

Rinse and slice scallions, reserve a few as garnish. Peel and mince garlic. Combine garlic, meat, scallions, drained raisins, pine nuts, yogurt and breadcrumbs in a bowl. Season with allspice, cinnamon, salt and pepper and knead into a well-moldable material. Shape into small balls. Heat oil in a pan and cook meatballs for 5- minutes.

Sprinkle with scallions.

Serve with fried potatoes, as desired.
