- 800 grams Lamb neck (with bone)
- 4 small onions
- 2 carrots
- 3 Tbsps vegetable oil
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 600 milliliters Beef broth
- 8 small potatoes
- 1 bunch Chives

Preparation steps

Rinse meat, pat dry and chop into chunks. Peel onion and cut into wedges. Rinse and peel carrots, cut into thick slices. Heat oil in a wide saucepan and brown meat on alll sides. Remove meat from pan and set aside. Saute onions and carrots in the same pan for 3 minutes.

Return meat to the pot, season with salt and pepper and add broth. Cover and simmer for 40 minutes on low heat. Peel potatoes, rinse and halve. Add to meat and simmer for 40 minutes more on low heat. Sprinkle with chopped chives and serve.
