- 4 Chicken legs
- 4 Tbsps olive oil
- 1 Tbsp Garam Masala
- salt
- 500 milliliters Chicken broth
- 250 grams Couscous (instant)
- 250 grams Yogurt (0.1% fat)
- 1 pinch Turmeric
- 2 Tbsps freshly chopped mint
- lemon juice
- freshly ground peppers

Preparation steps

Rinse the chicken legs, pat dry and remove skin. In a small bowl, stir together the oil and garam masala and rub all over chicken to coat. Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes (or up to overnight).

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F). Season the chicken with salt. Place the chicken on a rack set over a baking sheet and bake until the chicken is cooked through, about 25 minutes.

Meanwhile, bring the broth to a boil in a saucepan. Stir in couscous, remove from the heat, cover and let stand until the liquid has absorbed, 5-10 minutes.

In a bowl, stir together the yogurt, turmeric and mint and season with lemon juice, salt and pepper. Arrange the chicken on the couscous and serve with the sauce.
