Preparation steps

Rinse the lemon in hot water and cut into slices. Peel the ginger and cut into thin slices. Place the lemon, ginger, and black tea in a high pot and pour 1 liter (approximately 4 cups) of boiling water over the tea. Stir in the apple juice. Remove the tea bags after 2 minutes and chill the tea for at least 2 hours.

Pour the cold iced tea through a sieve and into glasses or a pitcher. Serve with ice cubes and lemon wedges.
