- 2 Tbsps Oil
- 2 ½ Tbsps butter
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 ½ cups spicy, german or hungarian Sausage (sliced into chunks)
- 3 ⅓ cups potatoes (cut into bite-sized chunks)
- ½ cup canned Tomatoes
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 cup vegetable stock (or water)
- 1 cup Green beans (chopped)
- salt
- freshly ground Black pepper

Preparation steps
1.
Heat the oil and butter in a large heavy based pan and fry the onion for a few minutes until softened but not browned.
2.
Add the paprika and cook for 1 minute, then add the sausage and cook until lightly browned.
3.
Add the potatoes, tomatoes, bay leaf and stock. Stir and bring to a boil.
4.
Reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender.
5.
Add the green beans and cook for a further 5 minutes until tender. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
