The sweet figs are not only particularly tasty, but are also at the top of the list when it comes to health: the iron in the fruit contributes significantly to blood formation. They also contain potassium, which acts as an electrolyte in the body and is therefore involved in metabolic processes and has a blood pressure-lowering effect.
To counteract the fine sweetness of fig and honey with a little freshness, freshly squeezed lime juice makes a good addition to the mascarpone cream. Simply squeeze the juice of half a lime and fold into the cream.

- 12 ripe Figs
- 2 Tbsps honey
- 2 Tbsps Pine nuts
- 2 Tbsps Mascarpone
- 2 Tbsps Sour cream
Preparation steps
Rinse figs, pat dry, cut from above crosswise and pull apart slightly. Set side-by-side in an oven-proof dish and drizzle with honey. Bake in preheated oven at 350°F/convection 325°F for approximately 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, toast pine nuts until fragrant in a dry frying pan. Remove and let cool. Mix mascarpone with sour cream until smooth.
Distribute figs among 4 plates and sprinkle with pine nuts. Garnish each plate with 1 dab of mascarpone and serve .
