400 grams large Prune (pitted)
200 grams Serrano ham (thinly sliced)

Preparation steps

Peel the onion and garlic and finely chop. Rinse the bell peppers, trim, cut in half, remove the seeds and ribs and cut the flesh into small cubes. Heat the olive oil in a pot, sweat the onion and garlic until translucent, add the bell peppers and saute briefly. Mix in the tomatoes, cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes on low heat. Puree the dip finely and season with salt, pepper, paprika and cayenne. Then let cool down.

Preheat oven to 250°C (approximately 475°F). Cut the ham in half as required, so that the prunes can be wrapped inside. Thread the prunes wrapped in ham onto wooden skewers, place in a greased baking dish and bake in a preheated oven for about 10 minutes until crispy. Remove, let cool and serve with the dip.
