- 1 garlic clove
- 1 scallion
- 150 grams Turkey
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp breadcrumbs
- salt
- peppers
- 1 generous pinch Turmeric
- ½ tsp freshly grated ginger
- 8 Satay skewers
- vegetable oil (for frying)

- 8 Lettuce
- 2 Tbsps Red cabbage (thinly sliced)
- 2 Tbsps carrots (cut into matchsticks)

Preparation steps
1.
Peel and finely chop garlic. Rinse, trim and thinly slice scallions. Process turkey through a meat grinder, or chop very finely.

In a bowl, mix ground meat with garlic, scallions, egg, breadcrumbs and ginger. Season with salt, pepper and turmeric. Divide mixture into 8 portions. Form each portion into a thick sausage shape (approximately 4 to 5 cm or 1 1/2 to 2 inches long). Thread onto skewers.

Firmly mold meat around skewers. Heat oil in a pan and fry skewers on all sides until golden-brown. Meanwhile, rinse lettuce leaves and spin dry.
4.
Place red cabbage and carrot strips on a platter and top with fried skewers. Serve with sweet and sour chili sauce, if desired.
