1 White roll (day old)
600 grams mixed Ground meat
1 egg
2 Tbsps freshly chopped parsley
1 generous pinch Lemon peel
salt
freshly ground peppers
vegetable oil (to fry)

Preparation steps

Soak bread in a little water. Combine ground beef with egg, parsley, squeezed out bread and lemon zest in a bowl, season with salt and pepper and knead well. Shape into balls around skewers. Fry in hot oil in a nonstick pan, turning until golden brown, about 5-6 minutes.

Drain on paper towels and serve hot or cold, with yogurt dip as desired.
