- 2 Corn (sweet corn)
- salt
- 1 pinch sugar
- 2 Tbsps olive oil (or melted butter)
- 1 small red Hungarian wax pepper

Preparation steps

Cut corn ears in half crosswise. Place in a pot and cover with water. Season with a little salt and sugar. Bring to a boil and simmer over low heat about 15 minutes. Drain and rinse.

Rinse and halve peppers, remove seeds and ribs, and finely chop. Insert toothpicks into ends of corn (as "grab handles"). Brush corn with oil or melted butter and grill briefly on all sides (watch carefully, as they burn easily). Season with salt and serve sprinkled with chopped peppers.
