10 ozs Whole wheat flour
3 ½ ozs Whole grain oat flour
1 cube Yeast
1 Tbsp Apple syrup
7 ozs Natural yogurt
2 Tbsps sunflower oil
1 tsp salt
1 egg
3 ozs Granola
1 egg white
4 Tbsps coarsely chopped Hazelnuts

Preparation steps

Combine the wheat and oat flour on the work surface and form a well in the center. In the well, mix the yeast with the apple syrup and 1/2 cup of warm water, knead together, cover and let rise for 20 minutes. Knead in the yogurt, oil, salt, egg and granola, and let rise for another 20 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180°C / 350°F.

On a floured surface, divide the dough into 10 equal pieces and roll them each into a log approximately 6 inches long. Squeeze the ends together to form rings. Boil the bagels in portions for 1 minute in boiling salted water, turning once, then remove from the water with a slotted spoon, drain well and place on a lined baking sheet. Brush with beaten egg whites and sprinkle with hazelnuts. Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 30 minutes. Remove and let cool before serving.
