Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 160°C (approximately 320°F).

Rinse the pears, cut in half lengthwise and cut out the cores. Rub the cut surfaces with lemon juice. Cut the cheese into 4 equal pieces and put each in the cavity of a pear half. Press another pear half on top and wrap with a slice of bacon. Place in a baking dish and cover with small pieces of butter. Drizzle with honey and bake until golden brown, about 20 minutes. During baking, occasionally spoon melted butter from the pan over the pears.
