- 1 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsps lemon zest
- 2 Tbsps lemon juice
- 8 cloves garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- ½ tsp Black pepper
- ⅓ cup cilantro (minced)
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 32 ozs chicken (drumsticks, thighs. wings, etc. )

Preparation steps
1.
Combine all of the ingredients for the marinade in a food processor and pulse until well blended.
2.
Rinse chicken under cold running water and pat dry with paper towels.
3.
Place the marinade and chicken pieces into a resealable one gallon plastic freezer bag. Squeeze the bag several times, until the chicken is thoroughly coated with marinade. Secure the seal and marinate in the refrigerate for 12 hours or overnight.
4.
Barbecue the chicken over medium hot coals or at medium-high heat for 7-10 minutes on each side (turning once, half way through) until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.
5.
Serve with sweet chili sauce or your favorite dipping sauce (optional).
