1 stalk cinnamon
½ Vanilla bean (seeds)
1 Star anise
1 tsp Coriander (in a mortar)
1 Tbsp Lemongrass (white portion, finely chopped)
2 tsps fresh chopped ginger
150 milliliters dry white wine
400 grams Strawberries
8 Tbsps Crushed ice
4 sprigs mint (small)

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse limes in hot water. Grate 1 teaspoon peel from 1 lime and squeeze the juice. Cut the other lime into slices.

Add sugar, cloves, cinnamon, vanilla, star anise, coriander, lemongrass, ginger, lime zest and lime juice to a large saucepan. Pour in wine and 750 ml (approximately 3 1/4 cups) of water. Simmer everything for about 5 minutes, then remove from heat and let cool.

3.

To serve: Rinse strawberries, clean and cut into slices. Pour wine through a sieve into a serving bowl and add strawberry and lime slices. Serve punch with sprigs of mint on crushed ice.
