2 Tbsps clarified butter

125 milliliters Vegetable broth
100 grams Whipped cream
600 grams Pollock
2 Tbsps Pastry flour
1 Tbsp Dill
2 Tbsps Caper

Preparation steps

Peel cucumber, halve lengthwise and scrape out the seeds with a spoon. Cut cucumber into slices. Peel and finely chop onion and sauté in 1 tablespoon hot, clarified butter. Add cucumber slices, season with salt and pepper and sauté briefly. Add broth and cream. Cover and cook about 10 minutes.

Rinse fish fillets and pat dry. Season fish with salt and pepper and dredge in flour. Fry fish in remaining hot, clarified butter, about 3 minutes per side. Mix dill and capers with cucumber slices and season to taste.

Serve fish with cucumbers. Serve with mashed potatoes, if desired.
