250 grams Pastry flour
2 egg yolks
125 grams ground almonds
3 Tbsps Mango syrup
1 Tbsp lemon juice
50 grams fine sugar
1 Tbsp Nut oil

Preparation steps

1.

For the cookie dough, add all the ingredients to a bowl and knead to a smooth dough. Wrap in foil and let rest for 1 hour in the refrigerator. Then roll out thinly on a floured surface between baking papers.

Whisk one egg yolk with 2 tablespoons water.

Cut out the dough into circles, put a folded piece of fortune paper in center and brush the edges with beaten egg yolk. Fold the circles in half and press down the edges, pressing the corners slightly against each other.

Place on a lined baking tray and bake in preheated oven at 200°C (fan: 180°C, gas mark 3) (approximately 400°F) for 12 minutes. Let cool down.
