- 500 grams Pastry flour
- 20 grams Dry yeast
- 2 tsps sugar
- 2 tsps salt
- 4 Tbsps vegetable oil (or liquid ghee)
- 100 grams Natural yogurt
- 1 tsp ground Cumin
Preparation steps

Put the flour in a bowl and sprinkle in the dry yeast. Add the sugar, salt, 2 tablespoons oil, yogurt and about 150 ml (approximately 5 ounces) of lukewarm water and knead into a smooth dough. Add a little more water, if needed. Cover and let rise for about 45 minutes. The dough should double in size.

Preheat the oven to 225°C (approximately 450°F).

Knead the dough again well and then incorporate the cumin. Divide the dough into 4 equal large pieces, roll out into patties and place onto baking sheets dabbed with oil. Brush with a little oil and bake until golden brown, for 4-5 minutes on each side. Remove and serve lukewarm.
