500 grams firm fish fillets (cod, redfish)
2 Tbsps lemon juice
salt
peppers
100 grams Pastry flour
1 egg yolk
1 Tbsp butter
l beer
2 egg whites
Frying oil
1 frozen French fries

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse fish, pat dry and cut into bite-sized pieces. Season with lemon juice, salt and pepper.

Mix flour with egg yolks, melted butter and beer. Season with salt.  Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into batter. Pour oil in a frying pan and heat to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

Cook french fries according to package instructions.

Meanwhile, dip fish in batter, let excess drip off and place in hot oil. Fry until golden brown. Remove from pan and drain on a paper towel. Serve with fries.
