18 ozs Mascarpone
6 ozs Coffee
4 Tbsps Brandy (or Marsala or almond liqueur)
20 Ladyfinger
cocoa powder (for dusting)

Preparation steps

1.

Separate the eggs. Beat the egg yolks with the sugar until creamy. Stir in the mascarpone. Beat the egg whites until stiff and gently fold into the cream. Mix the coffee and brandy. Briefly dip half of the ladyfingers in the coffee and place in a baking dish. Spread half of the cream on top and smooth. Top with a second layer of soaked ladyfingers and spread the remaining cream on top.

Chill for at least 3 hours. Sprinkle heavily with cocoa powder and serve.
