Summer is one of the best times to get into shape because of the countless vegetables that are in season and the many outdoor activities that are available. One summer vegetable that can be very helpful for weight loss is zucchini. With only 33 calories in one medium zucchini, you can eat high volumes of it all while keeping your calorie and fat intake very low. In addition, zucchinis provide you with many nutrients since they are rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and plant compounds.

Zucchini is also a very versatile vegetable. You can eat them raw, grilled, or even baked into breads. One of the most innovative zucchini trends that emerged in the past few years is the “Zoodle”. Zoodles are zucchinis that are either cut or spiraled to resemble pasta noodles, and they are good. They are the perfect substitute for traditional pasta because they add a lot of healthy elements to the dish and limit carbs, fat, and calories. Who doesn’t want to indulge in their favorite pasta dishes and get their summer body at the same time? Read below for our favorite low carb, zoodle recipes!
