- 250 grams Pastry flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp salt
- 120 milliliters milk
- vegetable oil (for frying)
- 150 grams cream cheese
- 4 Tbsps honey
- 60 grams slivered almonds

Preparation steps
1.
Mix flour with baking powder in a bowl. Add egg and salt and stir. Gradually stir in milk. Mix until a smooth dough forms.

Heat oil in a saucepan. Oil is hot enough when end of wooden spoon inserted in oil becomes surrounded with bubbles. Use a small spoon to drop in portions of dough. Fry until golden brown. Remove from oil with a skimmer and drain on paper towel. Mix cream cheese with 1-2 tablespoons of honey until smooth. Cut into middle of dumplings and fill with cream cheese mixture. Drizzle with remaining honey and sprinkle on almonds. Serve.
