fresh Yeast (42 grams or 1.5 ounces)

Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Preparation steps

Sift flour into a bowl, create a well in the center. Combine yeast, 50 grams (approximately 1.8 ounces) of sugar and 1/4 liter (approximately 1 cup) of lukewarm milk, then pour into well. Dust with some flour and let rest for about 30 minutes. Add 50 grams (approximately 1.8 ounces) of butter and knead into a dough. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.

Shape dough into a long roll form and divide into 10-12 portions. Let dough rest for about 30 minutes more.
