150 milliliters light beer
1 pinch salt
1 organic lemon (juice and zest)

100 grams Pastry flour
vegetable oil (for frying)

Gather and measure all ingredients. Rinse and peel the asparagus. Drain on paper towel.

Mix the egg, beer, lemon juice and lemon zest in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Sift in the flour.
