400 grams Ground beef
½ tsp salt
freshly ground peppers
Tabasco sauce
2 Tbsps vegetable oil
4 Hamburger bun (sesame seed)
1 white yellow onion
100 grams Celery
4 Chinese cabbage
4 Tbsps Ajvar (pepper sauce, jarred)
4 tsps Ketchup
2 Tbsps lemon juice
2 tsps Curry powder
½ bunch Chives

Preparation steps

1.

Season ground beef with Tabasco, salt and pepper to taste. Mix well. With moistened hands, form 4 patties. In a pan, heat oil over high heat and cook patties briefly on both sides. Reduce heat and cook 2-3 minutes more.

Peel onion and cut into rings.

Rinse, trim and thinly slice celery.

Rinse Chinese cabbage and pat dry.

5.

Mix Ajvar with ketchup, lemon juice and curry powder.

Halve sesame buns, and dollop each half with a little of the curry-sauce. Pile buns with Chinese cabbage, celery and onion rings and top with burgers. Add chives, if desired. Top with remaining sesame buns halves and serve.
