The essential oils of cress and caffeine from matcha tea boost the metabolism.
Unfortunately, fresh pineapple is not well tolerated by everyone. If the fruit triggers a stomachache for you, simply replace it in the drink with another exotic type of fruit such as mango or papaya. Instead of spinach, the smoothie also tastes good with lamb's lettuce, arugula or broccoli. If you like it sweeter, you can add 2-3 dried dates or 1 banana to the drink and puree it.

- 2 ozs Spinach
- ½ Cucumber
- 2 stalks Celery
- 14 ozs pineapple flesh
- 1 bunch Cress
- 1 Lime
- 1 tsp Matcha tea powder
- 1 ¾ ozs almonds (2 TBSP.)
Preparation steps
Clean spinach, wash and shake dry. Clean, wash and chop cucumber half and celery. Cut pineapple flesh into small pieces. Cut cress from the bed. Cut lime in half and squeeze juice.
Put 14 oz of water, spinach, cucumber, celery, pineapple, lime juice, matcha tea powder, almonds and cress in a stand mixer and puree everything together very finely. Pour smoothie into 4 glasses and serve.
