For the cupcakes
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup caster sugar (superfine)
4 eggs (beaten)
½ cup all-purpose flour
1 ¼ cups Almond flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 Tbsp milk
To decorate
1.333 cups cream (48% fat)
1 Tbsp powdered sugar (sifted)
vanilla extract
sugar sprinkles

1 Bowl, 1 Tablespoon, 1 Measuring cups, 1 Tea strainer, 1 Cutting board, 1 Small knife, 1 Wooden spoon, 1 deep bowl, 1 Hand mixer, 1 Large knife, 1 große Non-stick pan mit Deckel, 2 Slotted spatulas, 1 Dough scraper, 1 kleine Ladle

Preparation steps

For the cupcakes: heat the oven to 180C,350F, gas 4. Place paper cases in a 12 hole bun tin.

Beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in the eggs until well blended.

Sift in the flour and beat well. Add the ground almonds, vanilla and milk and stir well.

Spoon into the paper cases and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and springy to the touch.

Cool in the tins for 5 minutes, then place on a wire rack to cool competely.
6.
For the decoration: whisk the cream, confectioners' sugar and a few drops of vanilla until thick but not stiff. Spoon into a piping bag and pipe swirls on top of each cake. Scatter with sugar sprinkles just before serving.
